Over 20 Ghanaian Women Detained In Kuwait, Used As Sex Slaves

By Philip Otuo,
Reports indicate that over twenty Ghanaians in Kuwait have been detained and thereafter abandoned at a detention centre.

A Ghanaian woman among the 20 stranded people who managed to hide her mobile phone in her private parts called Adom News said they fear they might be killed.

Narrating how they got to the Arab country, she said, “We were promised by some people in Kuwait who said they will get us a job and because we were so anxious to get something doing, we agreed.
“We later realised that all the promises were false after we discovered that we have actually been sold for Ghc7,000 and have been turned into sex slaves.
“The unfortunate part is that those of us who get pregnant are killed for no reason. We are so scared and don’t know what might happen to the rest of us so we want government to come to our aid,” she cried.
This is the latest report of Ghanaians stranded outside the country after they took up offers of juicy employment, only to find such promises were too good to be true.
