The PUNCH: The attempt of the PDP agent, Mr. Godsday Orubebe, to stop the announcement of the presidential election results seems to have been foiled as the results announcement has resumed with Ebonyi State taking the floor with Collation Officer, Prof. Michael Amalekwu, presenting. Orubebe had sought the stoppage of the release of the results, citing alleged partisanship against the INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega.
    he also refused to allow Jega to respond to his allegation, almost throwing the entire hall of International Conference Centre into confusion.

  2. According to This Day Live: The PDP says it was leading by the highest votes cast. PDP also said it is satisfied with the performance of the party at the Saturday presidential election. According to PDP, “On account of result released so far, we congratulate our president. “We are not interested in who won in the states but 25 percent recorded in the states,” it said.
